Q&A: How Phillies manager Rob Thomson harnesses baseball's human element: This is a great interview with Phillies manager Rob Thomson about the influences on his career, how he makes decisions, and how he manages the human aspect.
“If we are going through a bad stretch, it might just be walking through the clubhouse after a tough loss and saying, 'Boys, just get them tomorrow. It's going to be alright. Don't worry about it.' I think players like that and respect that. That the guy in charge is under control.”
Roger Federer as Religious Experience: I think I’ve shared this before, but if not, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever read.
“There’s also his intelligence, his occult anticipation, his court sense, his ability to read and manipulate opponents, to mix spins and speeds, to misdirect and disguise, to use tactical foresight and peripheral vision and kinesthetic range instead of just rote pace — all this has exposed the limits, and possibilities, of men’s tennis as it’s now played.”

The Greatness of Patrick Mahomes
Patrick Mahomes is the only NFL QB in the last 30 years to go 8-for-8 or better with 27+ rushing yards on any single drive in any game, regular season or postseason.
He did it in OT in the Super Bowl. (source)
..and more…
Since 2001, there have been 125 drives in the NFL postseason where it was at least the fourth quarter, there was under a minute to play, and the team on offense trailed by seven points or fewer at the start.
Out of those 125 drives, only 40 percent of them saw the team on offense pull off the magic trick and get the points they needed. Only Patrick Mahomes is 7-7 in that situation. (source)

NFL Super Bowl LVIII Mic'd Up: This is 41 minutes of everyone in the Super Bowl mic’d up. Start at 27:55 for the last play before the SF 49ers kicked the FG in regulation. It is fantastic and incredible they’re able to capture these moments with the coaches, Mahomes, the refs, etc. You can watch a 1 minute teaser here.
